My garage looks similar...

I was burning out the rubber bushings in my control arms, and now there’s black rubber...stuff... all over the floor. And I tracked it.

I gotta figure out how to clean it off the garage floor before my wife gets back next week. Brake cleaner? Pressure washer? Set the house on fire?

Hopefully the house stops smelling like burnt rubber by then too.

BTW, do you know where I can find a Harbor Freight Coupon for that tool in the first pic?  I’m sure I’ve seen it in the sale flyer for $69.99 plus a free flashlight.

That guy doesn’t look frustrated enough.

Also does anyone else hate working on their car alone? Not that I can’t do it, but I’d much much rather have a buddy there, even just for moral support and second opinions.

I feel the same, so I tend to put on a podcast. My favorite for wrenching is The Best of Car Talk.

Something about hearing Click and Clack joke around and diagnose reminds me of working in the garage with my dad, and it doesn’t feel quite as alone in my garage when those two are around.
